Universal Audio Volt 4 Max USB Audio Interface

The Universal Audio Volt 4 Max is a 12-in / 6-out desktop USB audio interface delivering 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion and two Tone Shaping preamps offering Warmth, Focus, and Shine harmonic modes. Max Processing layers six real-time compression presets on top, while Auto-Gain keeps tracking fast. ADAT/S/PDIF expansion, MIDI In/Out, and an onboard USB hub round out the package.

Standout Features

Most desktop interfaces stop at clean preamps. The Volt 4 Max adds three harmonic modes emulating tube, solid-state, and British Class-A circuitry, plus six compression presets modelled on the 1176 and LA-2A.

Conversion and Preamps

The Volt 4 Max records and plays back at up to 32-bit / 192 kHz. Two Tone Shaping mic preamps deliver 60 dB of gain with +48 V phantom power.

Monitoring and Control
