NUGEN Audio VisLM 3 — Next-Generation Loudness Metering

VisLM is an industry-standard loudness meter for audio post, broadcast, podcasts and game audio. Version 3 adds multi-stem monitoring, a Notes tab, loudness-to-dialogue ratio (LDR), QC Report export and support for formats up to 9.1.6, along with the latest ATSC A/85:2026-07 and EBU R128 Supplement 4 standards.

The plug-in stores up to 24 hours of loudness information locked to the timecode provided by your DAW, and the navigable history view shows how it evolves over time. As soon as a mix tweak is played through VisLM, Integrated measurements are updated automatically, removing the need for end-to-end measurement. Through AudioSuite it can also measure faster than real time. True Peak values are measured and flagged as well, which speeds up QC and helps avoid costly amendments. The Stems tab combines data from multiple instances — such as full mix, dialogue, music and effects — in a single window, while the Notes tab lets you add timestamped comments directly on the history graph.

Standards and Compatibility

Supported standards include ITU-R BS.1770 (revisions 1–4), ATSC A/85, EBU R128, Netflix, Amazon Studios, Disney, Sony, ARIB TR-B32, OP-59, AGCOM 219/9/CSP, Portaria 354, DPP, Leq(m), Leq(a) and Apple Podcasts. VisLM 3 is available as AAX, VST3, AU and AudioSuite in 64-bit and requires macOS 11 or Windows 10 with 512 MB RAM. Full ReMEM functionality requires timecode lock from the host.
