Overall it's a really good Looper. Except all the great features it has listed, I want to mention that the screen helps you A LOT! Comparing to RC-1 or RC-3(discontinued). You'd have to spend some time to check the logic of how to setup your loop, as it's not as intuitive you might think, but once you get it, you will understand why engineering programmed it that way. Strongly recommend to go through manual, and BOSS's KBs. To use the full capability of RC-5, you have to invest in FS7 (or any other Normally Open switch). However, the best is to use it with MIDI, so you can control many, many things. Not only track functions, but drum patterns, variations etc. As a entry level, you can use Ampero Control (it has some limitations, but it's the cheapest I could find).
